Creating a diagram is a headache for many designers and researchers. Luckily, I just found this AI tool “Diagramming AI” yesterday. It can generate any diagram—flowcharts, Gantt charts, mind maps, timelines, sequence diagrams, and more—in just seconds!

Step 1: Generate a diagram from text
Go to Diagramming AI, start by describing the diagram you need clearly and concisely. Diagramming AI will analyze your prompt and generate a corresponding diagram.
Step 2: Use diagram template, format input, and change output quality for better results
Once the initial diagram is generated, you can further refine it to suit your needs.

Select the appropriate diagram from the template library, and click “format input” to rewrite your prompts. If you want a more detailed diagram, change the output quantity to “high” to generate additional objects on the diagram.

Step 3: Change diagram style and download
The default diagram color is grayscale, but you can change it by selecting a new color from the palette button beside the GPT-3.5 button.

Now is time to save your diagram and download it. I suggest downloading an SVG file if you want to change the style and font using Adobe Illustrator.

Bonus Tip: Use Perplexity for Research and Code Generation
Diagramming AI provides 10 free credits to generate diagrams from text. If you run out of credits and don't want to subscribe, you can use Perplexity to generate the diagram code.
💡 Perplexity is an AI-powered search engine and research assistant. It uses large language models like GPT-4, Claude 3, and its own custom models to provide natural language processing capabilities. Compared to ChatGPT, it can provide more accurate and up-to-date information.

Copy the code from Perplexity, then paste it into Diagramming AI, and voilà! Your diagram will come to life.

You can click "Quick Edit" button to modify the diagram's direction and curve style.

Finally, don't forget to save and download your diagram once you're done!
