Hi friends, have you ever tried creating a photorealistic photo using Midjourney, but struggled with the lighting? You finally get a really good shot. The model's pose is perfect, and the composition is great, but you're having trouble adjusting the lighting, Whatever prompt you type, it just seems not right
No worries! An AI tool called SwitchLight was recently launched. It lets you adjust the lighting of your image in seconds!

- Step 1: Use SwitchLight to copy lighting from reference image
- Step 2: Adjust lighting angles, background brightness and foreground details
Step 1: Use SwitchLight to copy lighting from reference image
Go to SwitchLight website and click CopyLight

Upload your photo. Here I use a Midjoruney-generated portrait photo as an example.

Next, select Copy Light from the left menu, and choose an image reference to copy.

SwitchLight AI will automatically generate new lighting for your photo!

Step 2: Adjust lighting angles, background brightness and foreground details
To adjust the lighting angle, simply drag the canvas or the chromball to adjust the lighting

To make composite images appear more realistic, adjust the brightness of the background and foreground details. Check the right menu, and feel free to experiment with each value.

If you don’t like the background of the reference image, you can always switch to the Source option and use your photo's original background.

Now it’s time to download the relighted image! Click the Download button at the top right, select Composite, and click Download This Item.
